Psychic Rebel: Pain & Purpose

How many years of pain does it take until one breaks? She has a ray of light around her that flickers like a flame about to burn out. Her eyes blacken with pain as the shadows of truth are presented to her. For someone to be open and closed at the same time. I had a bit of fear that she may be too closed off to my reading, but she proved me wrong and she unfolded like a beautiful spring flower getting it’s first experience of rain. I discussed her concerns before she brought them to the surface and I gave her a safe place to be free. The abuse I knew she had experienced on so many levels, the knowing of the soulmate that she just could no longer be with, the emotional abuse by her previous employer, by her mother, by her father. The abuse even I couldn’t talk about. All of that out in the open, on the table for dissection and discussion. Her tears streaming were a symptom of hurt and yet, a sign of healing. I need to show her the promise I saw for her, and so I gave her it all.

What I saw, the book, the movie series (JK Rowling vision), the talk shows, the discussion of her experience. All of it. I saw her contract, her need to make sure she had final say on all script decisions and the need to tell her to follow her gut and to not be persuaded otherwise. She had a story. And it needed to be HER story. She needed to stand her ground for her purpose. Yes. She has a purpose. There was a reason for all of this pain, suffering, and self-loathing. It was to show others that they have a voice. She was going to be the one to give it to them. She would vocalize her story and risk the judgment and scrutiny and sense of betrayal behind it all. But she was going to send a message of hope, healing and to show that we can all come back from the dark side. We can all dust off our wings and fly. In fact, we can soar. And how many of us ask? What is my purpose? What is my story? Oh, it’s boring, no one will care…yet, think of your journey, your pain, you give it purpose, it now has meaning. We have to have faith that we all have a purpose. We all have a story.

Psychic Rebel: Superwoman is Sick

She used to have so much energy! So focused, motivated and quite the self-starter! Then is struck. The mysterious illness without a name. At first she thought it had simply been the flu, it will pass. But, it didn’t. Over time it got significantly worse. One misdiagnosis after another until it depleted her of all who she once was. She had a tough time adapting, not one to complain mind you, but to deal with the physical symptoms, setbacks and sadness of it all. I was reading her at this dark time, I could see it all. I could also see a new purpose in her life. To begin telling HER story. To hold seminars and share her story of how she has overcome this adversity and how others suffering from the debilitating effects, can also move forward and manifest, build and grow. She “wanted to know everything” so I gave it her. I did not see her with her soul mate. I saw her with her partner of 20+ years, but he wasn’t her soul mate. Her soul mate was a friend. A woman. They had a connection, not one in which they crossed boundaries, but one in which they needed each other. I saw a level of depression, not that she would discuss that openly with me, nooooo…. but it was there, lurking underneath like a predator in the shadow simply awaiting the opportunity to strike. I saw she was contemplating signing an agreement with a partner for a business deal, I didn’t feel this was a good move for her. She had so many dreams, so much ambition, to be reduced now to asking “am I on the right path?”. NO. You are not. It’s time to focus on what feels like truth and move in that direction. Open up and trust more because quite frankly, Superwoman, the cape is getting in your way! Be willing to fail so that you can then succeed! Be willing to stumble so that you can then fly! Let go of the need to control. The need for yourself and your life to be in the pre-conceived vision of what you imagined, and allow yourself to be guided by what “feels right in your core”. “I just heard that from someone else today” she said. Hmmm…funny, how Spirit makes sure you get the message. Even if they have to repeat themselves! We all start with a pre-conceived idea of how our life will be, how we will grow-up and become these amazing superheroes in life! Yet, we all succumb to this thing called “acceptance” and allow ourselves to be directed, guided, and molded into what others and society thinks we should be. What they perceive as OK, as respectable, as NORMAL. Then, we find ourselves unhappy.

We have to learn to follow our inner compass, our inner voice and have the courage to TRUST that is has our best intention at heart. We need to let go of over thinking and underachieving and just follow our inner core as if we were a raft on a river. Let the current guide us to a place of purpose, fulfillment and contentment. Just be sure to hold onto your paddle because Spirit will take you on the ride of your life!

Psychic Rebel: Rejected & Misunderstood

She was so confused. Lost. Misunderstood. By Everyone. Even herself. She keeps searching for acceptance. For Love. Any Love. So desperate in her quest that she’s willing to settle. She has been settling. She has no one in her life that she can relate to. I see her loneliness. I feel it in my body. I feel her reaching out and her hand being slapped away. From work, to family, to romance. Just being denied at every turn. She holds so much in. No release. She can feel the energy of others. She knows what they are thinking, feeling. She has to find a place where there are others like her. I could see the disconnect with her family. The split from men. The severing of any emotional tie other than the fighting with her lover. The loss of hope on her face and in her spirit. She is broken. I cannot fix her, but I could give her the messages I was being told. To find a class, learn the trade, find like-minded souls, and find freedom. Find happiness. Yes, you deserve it. It’s O.K. You have my permission. I see a new love in about 3 years, a new job in 2-3 months-but she has to search now or else she won’t have time. Won’t have a choice. They will let her go like so many others in her life. So misunderstood this fragile soul. Finding it hard to find herself. That’s what we all struggle with at some point. To find ourselves. To have a voice. To be noticed. No. To be loved. Accepted. So simple really.

Psychic Rebel: Choosing Mr. Wrong…Again.

A stunningly beautiful young woman with a scarred soul. She gives unconditionally to the men in her life, falls in love with them so that she can heal them, then they release when they are ready to be in the wild again. She has a definitive pattern, but didn’t understand why. That’s where the Rebel came into play. It was important to explain to the Empath that she is a healer. Has been doing it for many lifetimes. She is to love and then love some more. That’s how she heals. She takes in the heartbreak, the disappointment and processes it within her being. Cleanses the hurt for them. NOW she is seeing it! For the first time it’s hitting her…so painful in so many ways. No bandaid will fix this boo boo. It will come down to acceptance. Accepting this is her soul’s contract in life. She chose it. Now she must live it. She gets it on some level, but her craving for true love eludes her like the seductive dance of a flame on fire. Now her family life is coming into focus. What family life? Where’s the love? Where’s the acceptance? Black sheep? Misfit? Why? Why so much jealousy and judgement against the Empath? Even by her own mother? Sister? She represents their own fear and not having the courage to take chances. They prefer their safe haven while the Empath allows her wild and free spirit to take flight. I see her designing. “NO..I’m in commercial real estate”. Yes, I get that you trying to pursue the industry you feel will be more financially lucrative, but you are a business woman who was meant to work in the design industry. “Design is my passion-but there’s no money”. I have to explain to her the concept of Free Will. She can chose her own destiny, regardless of what I say, but I have to stand in my commitment that spirit is telling me that she should be in design. I asked her to at least consider a design class-just to entertain the thought of allowing it into her life. But, we all fear what makes us most passionate, don’t we? The important lesson is to not PASS on Passion.

Psychic Rebel: His Dirty Affair

It started slowly. Simply. She didn’t know his dirty little secret. She reached his soul like no other. She could see right through him, like a glass of water. That both filled him with excitement and fear. He didn’t know where to turn or how to turn away. They communicated via email while he was away for a family funeral. Grief. He had so much grief and loss in his life. So much death surrounded him. He met her and felt alive again, felt whole, felt like she could see his soul-because she could. They had a connection. No doubt. I could see a ring. A proposal. A fiancee. Oh, yes, he had a commitment alright. Did he not think I wouldn’t pick up on it? On the other woman? On the secret? Silly boy. I could see his struggle. His pain. His guilt. His conscience spinning out of control. I could see he had two paths to take. One ended in divorce. The other…in spending the rest of his life with his soul mate. Then I could see the 9 year old girl around him. Always around him. Did he have a daughter? Nope. He had a cousin who had been his best friend that he lost many many years ago tragically. The pain he carries for her loss. The inability to accept. The dreams she visits him in. The messages she tries to convey. Yup, that was the angel surrounding him. She was so energetic. Sweet. Kind. An Angel indeed. She showed me them playing as children. She told me she liked the new girl. She liked that he was listening to his inner compass. But no, he wouldn’t listen to that inner compass after all. He refused to allow himself such happiness especially if it meant making a difficult decision. He didn’t deserve happiness his inner belief system convinced him. Especially if it meant leaving his box of fear. So much easier that way. Just pull the covers over. It will go away. She will go away. Forever. You can give the soul the lesson. Doesn’t mean they will listen to it. Easy enough. Enough said.

Psychic Rebel: The Hidden Pearl

Sadness, depression, feeling hopelessness. That’s what I saw from her photo. It was hard to allow my vibration to raise to meet her soul for our appointment, but I knew I had a few messages. I knew she needed to hear them. She’s in the wrong field. She should be helping people. She could’ve been a nurse. Helping children. Something with children. But, how is she going to pay the bills? How does she take that risk? That leap of faith, but her soul is at risk. How does she NOT? I said she was a natural healer of people. Her grandmother is her guide. There is something about Pearl. I can’t figure this one out. Pearl necklace? Pearl Harbor? What???? I’m hoping the answer will present itself because she (the grandmother) wouldn’t let it go.I saw both her cats had passed. They were her guides here. They are her guides there. One the feisty trouble maker. The other? He just sits casually on his throne throwing orders around like sardines. Told the nurturer that we have to find the light in her eyes again. It’s dark and diminished there. Turn on the light Let the sun shine through. Open the blinds. Whatever it takes.
Move. Shake. Get there. Trust in yourself.Believe. You are worth it.
I told the nurturer-she needs to get OUT of the house! socialize and be present. She spends too much time in her own time. Find friends and circles. This way he will come in. I like this one. He’s a stronger, outdoors man. Good with his hands, plaid shirt. Jeans, boots. Maybe not the richest man in the bank, but he’s a mighty rich man in his soul. Perfect match for her. She has to stop the struggle. She has to stop the cycle of struggle. Reach out and move beyond. That’s when we talked about the addictions. Whatever the vice, she no longer needed it. Let go of the vices. What you think is support, freedom and release is nothing more than a toxic poison to the soul-for you. Let go and find clarity, purpose. Go. Live. Be active. Be Present. Find yourself then… Go Find him.
***UPDATE***
As it turns out…on the night of the reading, a mutual friend was admitted to the hospital at the time of the reading. The name of the nurse assigned to this mutual friend was “Pearl”! -I believe this was a way for the grandmother to validate the reading. Also-before I called the client for the reading…I said out loud “Ok, butterfly…hope you’re ready!”-I asked her if there was any significance to butterflies. She had told me that on the day of the reading her mother and her had planned on going to a butterfly exhibit the next day!

Psychic Rebel: The Writer…Lost & Found

He is a gifted writer who became lost climbing a corporate ladder that he didn’t even want to be a part of anymore. He was unable to release from the rung so his guides stepped in and stepped on his fingers forcing him to release his grip. The fall left him confused, nervous, and unable to get up and find direction. That’s when he came for his rebel reading. I let him know that he was truly has a talent that he is to use, to share and to earn a living from. He is to write what he knows, express what he doesn’t and be brave enough to know the difference.I helped him see that he doesn’t need the approval of others to feel good about what he is doing nor does he need it as confirmation that he is on the “write” path. His soul is telling him loud and clear what the next step is to be for him.I guided him to find a job that will “pay” the bills, use his body and connect to people who are more like-minded. Then his mind will be at ease and his soul will take over and guide his hand to write the most moving and incredible words that have been caged inside of him for much too long. Through fear we hide, we remove ourselves, we “go with the flow” because that’s what society tells us to do, but I told Writer…to move beyond the fear…Go. Write. And he did. That night and each day thereafter.

Psychic Rebel: The Suicidal Warrior

Last night I had a wonderful reading with whom I will refer to as Warrior. A young soul with an old cycle. His surprise, perplexity and deep thought inspired me to want to reach deep inside of him to guide him see what was so obvious to me. I was able to know that he was a nature man, a warrior man, a man of core and strength. His deep thoughts and constant questioning of the universe has made him feel unfulfilled in this place we call the here and now. The buzz of people and the business of work.I knew he should go away, in the middle of nowhere, Be a survivalist-to go get himself. He wasn’t lost mind you..he knows exactly where he is… he just needed to go reclaim himself. I felt it should be Alaska or Canada (Vancouver to be specific). Yes, now THAT he could relate to.I knew he was in post-production, I also know that it doesn’t fill his soul. He is an artist, he is a solo soul. Meant to help others, change the perception of those around him.I knew he suffered from depression, liquid suicidal thoughts move through him like water down a stream, but his core and strength push him through those moments of despair and disconnect. He is a warrior.Once he finds balance, he will begin to have hope. That is the key. He can no longer allow this realm to swallow him whole and leave him feeling worn, tired, hollow. He has a mission to accomplish.
