Why you need a clean sheet of paper

starting over 2020

Imagine if you could do it all over. Start fresh. Would you make the same choices? Would you choose to make the same mistakes knowing their outcome? How about the same partners, friends and jobs?

Would you choose to do it all exactly the same way? Would you choose to experience the same pain as you had in the past? The pain of lost love, friendships, jobs and lost loved ones?

Your experiences make up the very fiber of YOU. Even those that you may feel pain, embarrassment or failure. Your experiences taught you the level of your resilience. They exposed what you truly desire, and they allow you to find the strength to carry on in moments you simply wanted to give up. They show you what you are made of in the darkest times and can act as inspiration to help create new memories. A new storyline.

As we embark on another new year and a new decade, what does it represent? It represents a clean sheet of paper. With the page blank, what will you write on it?

What do you choose?

You truly have the power to create that of which you desire. Remember your source power. Too often we give our power away to others. When you choose to be the creator of your destiny you see the universe steps in to assist you. Have you sat down to really reflect on what you want to see on this piece of paper?

Is it love? Family? Do you want a new job? Happiness? Do you want to feel successful? Do you want to leave your current position? Do you want to move? Do you desire more freedom? More money or how about more peace? Do you want new friends? Do you want to live in your truth? Do you want to be in alignment with your higher self?

You see, no one can write on your piece of paper unless you give them your power. For what they write may not be within your truth. Never let anyone write on your piece of paper. This is for you. When you feel stuck, meditate and ask source “What is my next step”? Feel the connection of spirit to help guide you.

“Never let anyone write on your piece of paper.”

Use your piece of paper as beacon of light, as a torch to guide you through the dark moments and to carry you to your true purpose. The life you desire and the life you deserve. Use your clean sheet to manifest, to motivate and to remember all that you are meant to be. No more playing small. You have now entered into a new decade. Now more than ever, you are needed and it’s YOUR time.

8 Essential Exercises For Self-Love

Self-Love tips

Are you feeling tired? Exhausted? Find yourself burning the candle at both ends? Many times we tend to take care of others before we exercise our own self-love. This can leave us feeling isolated and frustrated with our friends, family and co-workers. We start to question our purpose and path. One of the greatest gifts we can give others is to love ourselves first. When our tank is full we have more to give to others. We will be more patient, listen more intently and give more freely. When we commit to practicing self-love we create inner and outer peace for ourselves.

Follow these 8 Exercises to fill your tank TODAY!

1.Write a poem to yourself.Put pen to paper and write yourself a nice little love poem! It can be as simple as this:

“Roses are Red, Violets are Blue, nobody loves you as much as I do”

2. Write 5 examples of how you’ve grown spiritually over the past year

3. Look at yourself in the mirror and repeat the following:

  • I am a good person
  • I deserve to love myself
  • I deserve true love
  • I deserve to be financially abundant

Reminding yourself that you are worthy and there is no need to settle will help you make the choices that are for your highest good. The choices that reflect self-love the most.

4. Remove the word CAN’T from your vocabulary. It's easy to default to using negative language.
When we change our words, we change our thoughts.

5. Pat yourself on the back. Literally. Tell yourself you’ve done a GOOD job at the end of the day! We tend to be so hard on ourselves. We plow forward without ever taking a moment to reflect on what we have accomplished. Take a few minutes at the end of the day and instead of telling yourself what you didn't get done, focus on what you DID accomplish!

6. In the middle of a bit of chaos. Stop yourself. And say “I’ve got this handled”.When we are stressed we lose focus. Our thoughts get cloudy and our decision making skills decrease. Instead of getting frazzled, get it handled. Remember: You got this!

7. Post a couple of positive affirmations sticky notes on your fridge. Create a practice in which you cannot open the fridge until you read them. They will serve as reminders to keep your thoughts positive and your vibration high. They may just be the “pick me up” you need!

8. Write out a list of your t0p 5 accomplishments this past year. By remember what you've done, you will be inspired to do more.

Soulmate or Settling? – Find Out in FIVE steps.

With Valentine's Day right around the corner, you may be questioning your romantic status. Are you in a relationship that’s lost its romance and passion or have you reconciled to being alone?

As we grow older, the idea of change is frightening. We stop trusting ourselves and choose to settle for fear of making a mistake.

Here are FIVE steps to finding your truth in Love, Relationships & Romance!

  1. Look at yourself in the mirror? How do you feel? What do you see? Do you look back at yourself and feel a sense of pride and acceptance for who you are? Or do you see slumped shoulders, an aging body and a tendency to focus on your perceived flaws? It’s so important to look at yourself with love and acceptance. You start with celebrating you! That’s your first step.

2. Let’s say you are in a relationship. When you go to bed at night do you look at your partner and think “I’m really lucky to have this person next to me?” Finding your truth in love, relationships and romance means being able to speak the truth to yourself. If you don’t look at that partner and feel a sense of gratitude and excitement, then you have to ask yourself “WHY?” At what point did it start to taper off? Try to pinpoint the timing of when that feeling started to slip away and then ask yourself what was going on during that time? Sometimes, it’s a matter of refocusing that can bring us closer to our partner.

3. Is the family stepping in too much? Have other family members become so involved in your relationship that you’ve lost a sense of privacy? It’s time to hold your boundaries and politely tell them to butt out!

4. I have so many clients that want to know when their Mr. /Ms. RIGHT is coming along! But when I tap in, its years away and it’s because I’m being told that they aren’t putting themselves out there! You have to make yourself available! You find love when your heart is OPEN! So open your heart.

5. Life is about ACTION! You have to hold yourself accountable for your own happiness. You can’t blame your spouse (or lack thereof) or your family. You are the master of your happiness. Blaming others won’t help you achieve happiness or fulfilment; in fact, it will only lower your vibration. The more positive energy you can focus into your life the more you will see luck, gratitude and opportunity come forward to you because like attracts like!

I hope these 5 steps have given you a starting ground to finding your truth in Love, Relationships & Romance! Happy Valentine’s Day from ME!
